Neuropsychological and Physiological Correlates of Prospective Memory

Abstract

This chapter deals with neuropsychological and physiological aspects of prospective memory (PM). To increase our understanding of the processes involved in PM, it addresses the following aspects: 1) neural bases, 2) electrophysiological correlates, 3) transcranial magnetic stimulation, and 4) psychophysiological correlates. The chapter concludes with an integrative account of different analysis methods and possible prospects for future research.
